Does an unopened wine kit have an expiration date? After I purchase my wine kit, how long do I have to start making it? If I can’t start a kit immediately, is there a recommended storage (i.e. cold temp, dark room, etc).? TIA
Yes! Depending on the kit, they’re good for between 12 and 24 months on the shelf. Store a wine kit where you’d keep staples like flour or rice: dry, cool, dark and temperature stable. Other than that, don’t worry too much.
And if it takes you more than 12 months to make up a kit, you need to drink more or get some thirsty friends!
