+1 to Autopilot. I feel as if I can sometimes brew with my eyes close (although I wouldn’t!). Still make mistakes though!
This happened with my first all-grain order from NB (second ever all-grain brew). I ordered crushed, but they sent them all uncrushed. When I wasn’t getting good efficiency in that first mash, I called customer service, and they suggested that I scoop out the thick mash and run it through a food processor. I did; it worked great. It wasn’t fun, but it was able to save the batch.
I really feel for you Danny, I’ve done those kind of things myself. You’ve done the right thing by buying the mill. You now have all the control over this part of the process. Good luck!
