Getting ready to brew a batch that calls for a small amount (6 oz) of Castle Cara Ruby. LHBS doesn’t have cara ruby, so I’m wondering what would be a good sub. Carared? Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions.
Cara ruby use to be called Cara vienne. Other options be Cara 20 crystal 20 or caramel 20. Cara 20 be the closest in flavor and other will be as close as you can get in crystal or caramal malts.
