I have a Jupiter 862 grain mill. Its German made and I got it years ago to make flour. I didnt make good flour at all. For the last 5 years its been a 200 dollar black pepper mill. Works good for that !
ANyway would I be able to crack malt good in this rig? Would a very slight pepper scent ruin my brew???
It seems you can never get a strong scent to totally disappear.
Well, if it isn’t adjustable, seems it was designed fer flour, it may be to fine of a grind. You could also check with some feeler gauges… .045 sounds close… Just a simple look fer you to do… sneezles61
It looks to be adjustable, no? If it is it might work. You could test it with a pound of grain and see. You would only be out a couple dollars.
