Off topic, I know, but I’m looking for a good name for my new 6 week old black lab puppy, and would like something in the beer/brewing world. He’s all black, not a speck of white on him and he’s going to be big! Stout is the name that comes to mind first. It will be a good description of him, and we love a stout that’s darker than night!
Any other suggestions?!?!

If that’s too long, you could always name him Barley?
I have heard that dogs take to names better if it is two syllables. Maybe that was just some yahoo though.

My friend named his dog Simcoe, which I liked (though it isn’t black related). Another friend has a black lab named Guinness.
