Finally brewed NB’s brunch stout this morning (it was an extract kit I got free). Smelled great going into the fermentor. Think I’m going to add a little homemade vanilla tincture to this one.

Did this weekend a pumpkin spiced ale. Actually did find a pumpkin. So did use fresh pumpkin. Now wait and see how it does come out. Gonna make a starter today for upcoming sunday brew event. Gonna brew a mayhem ipa. Og 1.060. Fg 1.013 my own creation. Have been thinking out of the box. Put my recipy on paper. On what to use and add. Some calculation. Finished. Did use. Brewsmith. To check. And some small changes
Brewed up a Black IPA yesterday on the hottest day of August we’ve had so far. Looking forward to fall! Pumpkin ale is on the schedule for the weekend after Labor Day.
