Yeast - Their time in the spotlight

Why is the Yeast category at the bottom of the forum? It really should be near the top.
When talking to people about my brewing hobby, everyone can relate to hops but their eyes start glazing over when I talk about yeasts.

It’s crazy why peeps don’t know… I’m sure some of the Brewers on here that do brew a lot know very well…
Even that meatless… meat… One company claims the flavor that makes their goo tastes like meat is because of the yeast… I believe it’s being used at BK… I would like to try it. Yeast is vital for us.

Gonna go nerd here, but in Isaac Asomov’s “The Caves of Steel” one of main sources of nutrition for everyone in his vision of the future was yeast, mostly formed to be meat-like. That was written in 1953.

Creating “Natural Flavors” is extremely wasteful and all future hippies will insist their flavors be “artificially” created by yeast.
