Hello I just want to check with you guy’s to make sure my math is right I am going to make a 5L yeast starter for a lager an from what i read on mr malty it say 1g per 10ml of wort so for 5L or(5000mL) of wort for my yeast starter that would workout to be what about 500g of DME for the 5L of starter with a OG of 1.030 to 1.040 I think
Yeah, that seems right. I use .75 oz. DME per cup of water. For me, it’s easier to think of it that way.
10 to 1 ratio is easier for me.
