I was wondering if one would need to make a yeast starter, or add an additional package of yeast to make an average strength ale…say OG at .60?
We (I ) are all assuming that you mean 1.060?
Yes a yeast starter should be made for a 1.060 beer. Although that may seem average here on these boards it still means a beer that will usually end up above 6% ABV
