I’ve seen in forums that some brewers manage to snag yeast from local breweries.
Are there any MN breweries that either sell/give away yeast?
I have not gotten yeast from any of the local craft brewers, but I am sure its possible. You really just need to build a rapport with them and show up at the right time.
Other wise you can just go to the LHBS and pick up some WY2035 Wyeast American Lager, which is August Schell’s strain.
