Just wanted to get people’s impressions. I never hear of anyone using this yeast. Anytime I bring it up in threads, I don’t seem to get any other feedback- positive or negative.
In my case, this is one of mybe a half dozen liquid strains I can actually get locally - and it is usually pretty fresh.
My impressions have been fairly positive all around. Fairly clean lager strain. Very easy to use. It seems to remain very clean, even at slightly higher than lager temps. I also found the mouth feel stood out as nice and silky.
Perhaps it gets a bad rep due to the fact that it is the Bud Strain?
