Wort chiller size (25 vs 50 ft)

I have a 5 gallon pot (10.5 inches deep and 12 inches diameter), and want to buy a wort chiller. I’m looking at 3/8" copper 25 ft and 50’ chillers. The diameters of each are about 9 inches. Is there any reason why I should NOT buy the 50’ version (…other than about $25 difference in cost)? Is there a concern with the upper couple of coils protruding above the wort?

Thanks

Nope, go for the longer one.

And the bigger the tubing the better as well.
