I am planning a 10 gallon imperial stout. It will call for 39 lbs of grains. Will my keggle be large enough?? Please say yes!
Possibly, but it’ll be a tight fit.
Check out the “Can I Mash It?” calculator at
I don’t know how much volume a keggle has. This appendix from Palmer’s on line book may help with your calculations.

How much of those grains are specialty grains. Those don’t need to be mashed . Do a thick mash and double sparge. Steep your specialty grains in the wort. You can start steeping as soon as you get your first runoff.
