my wheat brew is real dark in primary is this normal
Without knowing what kind of color you were shooting for, or seeing a picture of the brew, this question is pretty tough to answer. I’m assuming you made a hefeweizen or some other pale-colored wheat beer, but I don’t know. Keep in mind, too, that any beer will darker in a large volume than it will in a bottle, or a glass.
Remember that light travels through a larger volume differently than it travels through beer in a glass. All beers look darker in the carboy.
