Brewed NB’s Bourbon Barrel Porter. It’s OG. was 1.066 and FG 1.007 before Makers Mark Bourbon was added. Calculated ABV at 7.5 at that point as 3 gal went into secondary and 10oz bourbon added per recipie. Curious what the new ABV is and I am math challenged. Anyone? :roll:
BTW, Bourbon is 45%by volume.
By my wizard magic mathematics, it looks like this is right around 8.1% ABV.
