Quick question regarding water chemistry and my report. My local report gives a total hardness (as CaCO3) of 80 mg/L. Is that the same as Alkalinity as CaCO3? If not, how do I convert?
They are not the same and there is no conversion. Sorry. Contact the laboratory at the water company and talk with those staff directly.
