Is there a way or device to wash beer bottles in a dishwasher?
I’ve read people just putting them on the bottom shelf. I do T think I would risk it. When I use bottles, or save them (sometimes will save a few in case I bottle up a kegged batch) I rinse them with hot water right away. This goes very far in finally cleaning them. Or fill them with hot water and add a bit of PBW. Next day, rinse them and sanitize. Store them upside down and they’ll be good to go.
I wonder how PBW would work in the dishwasher.
I agree with @loopie_beer about hot water to rinse after drinking a bottle (or more) of your HB. Rinse well and dump until you can’t see any gunk in them.
About the dishwasher. I recall reading somewhere that people put their bottles in the the dishwasher with no soap or PBW because the heat from the hot water and heating element do the job. I have never tried it though and stick to kegs because of the never ending PIA of bottles
