Wasatch Ghostrider White IPA

Wasatch Ghostrider White IPA. This one poured a nice straw color but was surprised when it ended with a little bit of yeast at the end. Looked at the bottled and that was when I saw that is unfiltered. Okay…no problem. Beer was cloudy with a nice foamy head and floral aroma. Nice hop flavor; floral and pine, but not aggressively hoppy. A little yeasty on the finish, which I found a pleasant change from the norm. This would be a beer I would use to introduce people to IPAs. Hoppy but not punch-you-in-the-face hoppy. Really liked this one.

I like Wasatch. You’ve got to give them credit for opening a craft brewery in the state of Utah. Utah has one of the most regulated alcohol laws in the country (if not the MOST regulated). If you make a beer over 4% ABV, it has to be sold in a liquor store.

their low abv beers are a nice change of pace from the typical 6%+ american beers

I’m a big fan of their Polygamy porter. They like to poke fun at a big part of the Utah population
