Viable Temperature for Adding Gelatin

Hello Everyone,

I have a Northern English Brown that I’d like to clear with gelatin. Normally I’d mix and heat the gelatin and then add it to a chilled carboy at 35*, but my lager fridge is currently full with other beers. This being the case, I was thinking of adding the gelatin to the carboy at basement temperature, which is ~50*. Does anyone know if this would be a cold enough temperature for the gelatin to clear the beer?

That’ll work.

Thanks! I’ll give it a go…
