Using WYEAST Belgian witbier 3944 for other beers

I was wondering what other types of beers this yeast would be useful for besides a witbier. I went to the wyeast lab strain guide and it was said that they would recommend a dubbel, tripel, or spice/vegetable beer. Would a wheat beer or possibly a pale ale work with this strain of yeast?
cheers

It would work well for some Belgians and yeah, I think it would also work well in a Wheat. My Belgian Wit is 50% pils, 50% flaked wheat, coriander, grains of paradise, a little of some noble hop and that yeast. Came out great. Don’t see why it wouldn’t work well for a wheat.

Thanks! I’ll let you know how it turns out, I am gonna do my yeast starter either tomorrow or saturday

I wouldn’t use it for a dubbel or tripel. Wrong flavor profile IMO.
