If it’s new and never had anything boiled in it you’ll want to fill it up water and boil it for 30 minuter to get a patina on it. Don’t scrub it off when you’re cleaning it.
Absolutley… I purchased an inexpensive turkey fryer at Target, has a 7.5 gallon stainless pot and works great!!
That’s not really aluminum, but a good find.
