Was checking on some grain prices at our host. Noticed they had ZERO bulk bags of Vienna malt, even the ‘craft’ malters that run $200/sack (like I’d ever spend that!). Started looking at some other bulk sacks and they too were sold out. Anyone notice that? Anyone having problem getting supplies from our host?
Wanted to order some calcium chloride… was like… 8 bucks(?) but shipping was 20 bucks… I won’t dig on them, but I also won’t pay that.

I didn’t check shipping. Just was surprised that they didn’t have any bulk sacks!

Our local brewery would sell sacks, now they have them bulk silo setups, buy just what you need… for base malt anyways…

no money in ingredients. I use more.beer they are about $18/10lb so about $90 for 50lb free shipping that’s 2-row. Vienna a bit more. They do sell bulk but that’s not eligible for free shipping.
