just started a split batch of sour krout, watched a couple youtube videos, to see how it was done, i am posting to see if anyone has any rock solid sour krout recipes,anything from extremely traditional to extremely unique, any way thank yall for offering up any recipes or advice ahead of time,
Fill a quart jar with shredded cabbage. Add 1 tsp of salt and 1 tbsp of vinegar. Fill to top with water. seal loosly with lid and ring.
It’ll go for a few months, then tighten ring to seal.
I like this one because it’s not too messy, it lets me do a variety of batches (with beer, with hot sauce, with wine).
