Sour beer question?

I about to brew a dawsons kriek kit…I do not want a highly sour beer nor do i want to blend this batch…If i pitch some T58 and ferment it 2 weeks then pitch the lambic blend the finished beer will be less sour correct?..Im shooting for a mildly sour kriek…Any advice sour brewers?

That sounds like a good plan. I haven’t bottled a sour yet, but have brewed two. First one was pitched with the blend right off the bat with some bottle dregs at six months and it’s still not too sour at a year.
