Shortages

I have only ordered from NB 3 times. (Oklahoma is a long way to ship.) Once in 2010 once in 2011, and once in 2013. I got my third order yesterday at work and opened it this morning and found that of 16 items I was short 2. One was my Wyeast, $h-t! the other was some PBW. Is this common with them?
I’m sitting here by the phone waiting for them to open to see if they will make it good.

I’ve ordered from them plenty and never had that problem. I get extra items sometime, though.

They forgot some of my DME one time I called the 1-800 number and they got it right out with a free glass for my troubles.

I called them and the stuff will be here Thursday.

I have been with them for over a decade. I personally like the older NB and people there but they are so much better than the people at midwest who have attitudes and are less knowledgeable all the way around. I have had a very few things damaged over the years such as leaky malt extract or broken DME’s and they were great and swift about getting it out to me. I have no complaints at all with NB! I personally think they are the best out there! :smiley:

I’ve always had great luck with the customer service at NB. Very quick to make good on any issues that I have faced with my orders.
After a recent issue with one of the products that Midwest carries they reimbersed me for the faulty product, but noticed that they still carry the item even though there was safety issues.

Happened to me two weeks ago. Purchased two all grain kits and no yeast. They did fix the issue quickly though.

NB’s customer service is 100% top notch…
