Shining star pale ale

So I ordered a kit and brewed this when NB first came out with it and drank most of accept a few bottles, it was a very good pale but the bottle I cracked today has a clover flavor to it almost like a siason, Still very good but it changed so much the older it got. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this.

Hold one of the dried bottles up to a light. If there is a crud ring at liquid level you have an infection. If so make sure you wash those bottles really well before reuse. I have had several beers do this, but they were usually 6-12 months old and stored around 60F. I’m starting to understand that home brew has a shorter shelf life than commercial beers when stored at warmer temps.
