Sanitizing kettle before boiling

Newbie I didn,t see anything about sanitizing kettle before boiling water and making my 1st batch of wort. I am assuming i don,t have to. I don,t want anything to go wrong with my 1st batch. thanks for any input

Not necessary. The boiling will be sanitizing enough.

Just make sure you give it a good cleaning after each use.
