Just picked up a sixer of this tonight for around $8 dollars and I’m very impressed. Coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, hints of caramel all shine through for the smell and taste. An overall very tasty well balanced Cream Stout. One of Sam Adams finest offerings IMO and very reasonably priced
Thanks for the heads up. It was in a straight up sixer too? A lot of times i don’t by a lot of their beers cause they come in variety packs. BTW I saw that winter ale is now out, last year’s was pretty good so i look forward to drinking it.
Yes it was in a complete sixer. I was impressed that it wasn’t part of a variety packs. Tried the winter ale a few days ago on draft and It’s a good sessionable winter ale. I will pick up a sixer of that next
