Anyone have a recipe for a Stella Artois clone?
This is the only beer my brother drinks (I know! so lame!).
Still, I’d like to make a batch for him.
He is my brother after all.
What’s a close recipe?
Anyone have any ideas on this one?

The only beer? Never had anything else?
Make a patersbier or something similar and tell him it’s Stella.
Brew a cream ale.
Bottle into green bottles.
Leave in direct sunlight for 20 minutes.
just a guess…
90% pils malt
5% light Munich
5% table sugar (might be able to omit this and go to 10% Munich)
Mash at 148*
90-minute boil (or maybe not because I feel like Stella has some DMS)
1oz Saaz @ 60
.5oz Saaz @ 20
.5oz Saaz @ 10
1oz Saaz @ flameout
Huge slug of a Euro lager yeast of your choice, I personally like Wyeast 2206 Bavarian Lager (50* for 2 weeks, lager for 4-6 weeks)
If you can’t lager, one satchet of US-05 fermented at no more than 60 degrees, then raise up to 65 after 5 days. (temp control is key)
I almost feel like Stella might have rice or another adjunct in it in small %ages. I feel like Stella can be a bit buttery as well…so make sure to take it off the yeast early or get a bit of pedio into the bottles
