If I want to go from primary after 2 weeks or so and do the secondary in the keg…do I need to add any c02 to keep the seal tight?..Im brewing an IPA and my gravity is at about 1.014 and its still a bit cloudy…I dont mind the cloudy…I just want to make sure its done fermenting.
Make sure it’s done fermenting before racking. Then once it’s in the keg, flush the headspace with CO2 and hit it with 20 psi to seal. I’ve found that a fresh coat of keglube on the o-ring helps set a good seal.
