Question

I just lifted my carboy up onto the counter to siphon into the bottling bucket. I looked up and there are bubbles coming up in the airlock thing. There has not been any bubbling for the last two weeks. I have had it in the fermenter for three weeks. Should I continue to bottle or let it wait now? Hopefully I can bottle because I have everything ready to go. Hope this is not a dumb question.

It’s just dissolved CO2 coming out of solution.

Also, if it was a plastic carboy, when you lifted it you compressed it a little squeezing some of the head gas layer out. No biggie.

Thanks. This was my first brew so I was hoping it was nothing.
