Question about Jamil's Evil Twin

I put a batch of Jamil’s evil twin in the bucket last Sunday (4/7). The guy at the store recommended that I use 2 packets of yeast for this recipe. I put those in just like I normally would and I am wondering if that would greatly affect the fermentation time. It has been a week and there is little activity from the airlock. Should I transfer to secondary earlier than the recipe says or just leave it for the full 2 weeks?

Airlock activity doesn’t equal fermentation activity. Are you sure your lid’s on all the way? Can you post your OG and beer temperature (and/or ambient air temp if applicable)?

Long story short, I would leave it in primary for at least 2 weeks, probably 3 if the gravity is what I think it is.
