Question about dry hopping

Im about to dry hop my batch of NB’s dead ringer IPA. I have two ounces of centennial hops left. Bad idea to dry hop with two ounces? the recipe only calls for one… I love ipa’s and imperial ipa’s but i dont want to be drinking liquid grass haha

Assuming you’re talking about a five gallon batch, IMO two ounces is the minimum quantity required to properly dry hop an IPA. I like to use 2.5 to 3 ounces.

Go crazy! I have dryhopped beers with 6-7 ounces with great results!

I use 1-2 ounces per gallon. Adding the extra Cents is a step in the right direction.
