Pilsner starter

Good morning,
I’m brewing a czech pils tonight. I did a 2 liter starter with wyeast 2278, let it go 2 days, chilled it, decanted it and did another 2 liter starter yesterday 6:00 PM adding the remaining slurry. I assume I would have gotten better yeast production if I had split the slurry into two additional 2 liter starters but since I only have one stir plate I opted for just the one. My question is are there any negative issues to not doubling the starter volume? Any problem with putting too many yeast cells into too small a volume starter?
thanks
steve
oops, forgot to add critical point, 10 gallon batch, splitting the 2nd starter between the two carboys.
thanks

You just don’t get as much yeast growth.
