Ph Test Strips for Star San

I am looking to purchase ph test strips for making sure that Star San is less than 3.0. I purchased the the Universal Test Strips from NB (http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/ph-t … ersal.html) however, the measurements are in 2.0 increments from 2.0 then 4.0. 2.0 is red, 4.0 is orange. I am finding them difficult to use, and without a 3.0 color I feel like I am just guessing.

Are there any economical test strips out there? Or should I just splurge and buy a meter?

I purchased pH test strips in the wine making section of home brew shop. pH 2844 - color range from 2.8 to 4.4. They are made by Precision Labs, Inc.
