Will cacao nibs affect the color of my beer? I’m going to add 4oz to 5 gallons of brown ale.

I cant imagine that you will be able to see any difference in a brown ale. Maybe if you put them in a 2 srm pilsner you would be notice a slight darkening, but still probably hardly noticable.

Doubt it. They will add to the overall bitterness of the beer though. So just be ready for that.
