On the 8th day it rose again!

In a previous post I said that my fermentation ended in just three days. I went to check out the carboy and found that the airlock was back in action bubbling away…Slowly, but gassin’! Being new to the scene. Is this good or Bad>>>???

Change in Temp?
Maybe change in atmospheric pressure?
Have you taken any SG readings to see what’s going on?

don’t judge fermentation by airlock activity. Gravity readings are the only sure-fire-way to know if something is fermenting.

it could just be Co2 leaving solution, or possibly renewed fermentation activity. you wont/can’t know without gravity readings.

it’s not good or bad. unless the renewed activity is the result of an infection. although that’s unlikely - it’s most likely just co2 leaving solution
