Northwoods Birch Wood ale. Literally that is all that is on the label. Had no idea what to expect with this one. Color was nut brown and had some sediment in the pour. Light carbonation. Aroma was slightly sweet and vanilla. Flavor was toasted caramel, nutty and toffee. Toffee flavor became dominant the further I got into it. Nice hop and malt balance. Really good overall.
