I started growing hops this year and it went well enough that I looking forward to next year.
My issue is it seems like all/most of the aromatic citrus hops are patented, thus you can’t get rhizomes. So what is legal and available?

Yeah many of the ‘in demand’ hops are proprietary and unavailable to unlicensed hop growers. Here is a site that offers many varieties.
