Mushroom fermentor cover

I brewed an extract caribou slobber, pitched the yeast sunday night, i just got home from work and class. BLAMMY!!! I had a baseball size yeast head on my fermentor and the bubble chamber was on the top shelf of my closet. I put a new sanitized bubble chamber on and it continued to bubble and ferment, the real question is should i be worried about infection or off flavors?

Also i have some splattered beer on the ceiling.

the forced bubbling should have kept anything out given it was not exposed too long. Use a blow off tube and a small bucket of sanitizer. Save yourself a world of mess.

yea i heard that, i put a couple drops of foam cap in the fermentor hoping it would sustain, but apparently not. Next time play it safe and just use a blow off.
