Just wondering what the best ingredients are to make a full bodied stout at 5% abv with the 6 gallon Munton’s Connoisseur Export Stout ?? Is it all that different from Irish stout ? Thanks.
Are you asking what ingredients to add to the that kit to make a 5% full bodied stout? If so, it looks like it makes 40 pints (5 gallons) at an OG of 1.040-1.044. So perhaps 2 lbs. of dark malt extract to bump your OG, but I’m not sure about the IBU’s.
