Anybody have a good suggestion about a mini fridge that will hold 2 pin lock kegs? I was hoping to do a mini-fridge, rather than have to buy a freezer AND and temp controller. My main concern is the added width of pin locks. I don’t want to buy a refrigerator and find that I cannot fit my two kegs in it.
Pin locks are 10" IIRC. I could go measure one of mine, but I’m a bit lazy right now. 8)
Make a couple of circles out of cardboard and take it to the store with you. Then you will know what mods you may need to do to the fridge.
This is a shot of a Danby : DAR125SLDD the circles are 9.25” which are the diameter of the 1/6th kegs I plan to place inside… Yeah as it looks here I need 2.25" as I can’t locate a fridge stretcher I’m building a 2.5” wood frame around the door, sealing it with Marine varnish to protect from moisture. I’ll be posting pics of the build just a tad too chilly in the shop right now to accommodate the build…
