Made yeast starter too early?

I made a yeast starter almost 2 weeks ago, and havn’t had the time to brew. I put the starter in the fridge after fermentation ended. Is there any issues with leaving it sit for awhile until I have the time to brew? If so, how long will it be viable?

It will be pitchable for ~3 weeks. After that you’ll probably want to decant & do another starter. It should be good up to a year, maybe longer, as long as it’s sanitary. You can use Mr. Malty to determine it’s viability & how to deal with the next starter.

Cheers!!!

Yep, you should be good to go. If you let it sit more than a month, take a 25% per month viability loss into account.
