Kegging

This is my first time brewing, first time kegging, and my first time posting. I have brewed, fermented, put my beer on a secondary rack, and now it is sitting in my fridge under 20lbs of Co2. My question is: If I do not have a pressure release valve, how do I get the pressure down to 10lbs for serving without making a fantastic mess?

I take it you’re using a pin lock keg? Take your CO2 connector off the gas in post and depress the poppet. This will release the gas. Set your regulator to 10 and put it back on.
