Trying to figure out what kind fitting I need, a MFL or Barb. How do I tell?
The MFL ones swivel and you can disconnect them easier because they are threaded, The barbed ones are more permanent but cheaper. If you can afford to go with all MFL thats they way to go.
The part that hooks to the keg is the same your just looking at the part that will hook to the gas/liquid line.
Like if you said I want one of these http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/brew … l-gas.html then you would also have to order one of these http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/1-4- … l-nut.html
Just make sure you have a ball lock keg not a pin lock.
Great, thank you!
To expand on Golden’s statement about using the MFl, you can the easily switch between coke/pepsi/sanke kegs.
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=49919And on the serving side, if you later over carb a beer to style, you can have a longer beverage line made up and change it out as needed.
