Just washed yeast, now what?

I just washed some Nottingham dried yeast from a blonde ale I brewed last Thursday. Do I have to make a starter, or can I just pitch the jar of yeast on my next brew day? Also, how long will the yeast last in my refrigerator?

Did you separate it into 3 separate jars? If so, you can pitch within a few weeks without a starter. I wouldn’t go over 3 weeks or 1.090 OG with one jar. I’ve reused yeast that was 4 months old with a starter. I know other fellow harvesters have gone longer.
