Through a deal from Northern Brewer I now have the Irish Red Ale kit for a second time (I brewed this a few months ago as my first ever home brew). I loved the end product but just for a bit of fun I was wondering if there was anything I could add the next time to change it up a bit. Any flavorings additions etc.
Any advice/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
ive been looking this up also. Ive found that alot of people add honey to give it a little more character.I guess it all depends on your tastes.
Unless you use a alot of STRONG honey, you’ll only get a drier beer.
Add a few shots of Jameson.

Honey would be good! Someone also suggested Nutmeg to fit with the festive season. Thanks for the suggestions.
