How long are starters good for?

I made a yeast starter on Saturday with the intention of brewing today (Monday). I put the starter in the fridge last night to settle the yeast. Something came up and I don’t have time to brew today. I probably wont be able to until Thursday or possible Saturday.

My question is will my starter still be good? Also, should I make a new starter a couple of days prior and re-pitch the current starter to keep it fresh?

Thursday or Saturday should be fine. Anything within a week or two and I would just decant and pitch. Anything longer, I’d probably add some fresh wort to wake up the yeast.

Excellent. Thank you.
