Just sampled several bottles of the Green Flash “Green Bullet” triple IPA. I really love this beer and would like to clone it, but I have a problem. It is supposed to use Green Bullet hops from New Zealand, but the aroma is different than the official hop description. I smelled the strong aroma of someone smoking a fine Jamaican cigar. I have never heard of any hop having the aroma of cigar smoke. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a common aroma for this hop (i.e., N.Z. Green Bullet)?
I’ve seen fuggles decribed as tobacco like.
If I rember correct it says on the bottle or the 4 pack box but I think they also use another hop.
