I was thinking of brewing the la petite orange kit and using my 3787 high gravity belgian yeast from my patersbier brew. my only concern is in the the description they talk about alot of flavors coming from the yeast. am i worried about nothing.
Its certainly going to be different if you use 3787, but its worth a try. You will still make beer just not the one described. You might like it and could always redo the kit with the 1214 and compare notes.
I just racked a #8 onto the 3787 cake from my Patersbier. It was chugging away within 2 hours and seems to be finished up after10 days. Smells great!
